Drilling a community borehole to serve 900 people and a nearby primary school.
A home for orphaned children living with disabilities and HIV/AIDS in Masaka β HOT Foundation has visited 4 times, providing food, beds, school materials, and a full 5-classroom block.
Children in Masaka were learning under a leaking iron-sheet shed with no desks, no library and no safe water. HOT Foundation partnered with local leaders, parents and volunteer builders to construct a permanent classroom block, a library, staff offices and a borehole.
The school opened its doors to the community it was built for, funded by donors like you and built with local labour β putting resources directly back into the community that needed them most.
